Natural Flavor

What is it?

Our natural world contains so many exciting tastes and flavours. Rather than use artificial flavours or strong sweeteners, our philosophy is to use the many flavourful fruits, plants and roots that are already present on the Earth. Our products are flavoured with natural ingredients like pure mint oils and fruit extracts. We believe creating a pure flavour experience is worth the effort.

How is it made?

Our Stewardship Model guides us to select ingredients which have been processed in a manner that supports our philosophy of human and environmental health.

All of our essential oils are steam distilled, rather than chemically distilled. This is the simplest way to extract oils and poses the least risk for chemical contamination. Some oils are distilled more than once as necessary to ensure quality and unique taste and flavour profiles.

Is this the right option for me?

Tom's of Maine recognises that no two people are alike, and even with pure and natural ingredients, some individuals may develop an allergic reaction that is unique to them.
